Logbook

Lesson 1: 

This is the first lesson of a new project. For this project we have to make a logbook of every lesson. In that logbook we write what we do in every lesson. Also we have to choose a hero who did something that changed the world. I have chosen to write something about Johhny Cash. Johhny Cash was a singer, guitarist and a songwriter. In this lesson I started to search some information about Johnny cash, because I did not know much about him. I sought information on Biography.com. On this website I read something about Johnny Cash that I did not know. This was everything that I had done in the first lesson. In the second lesson I continued reading, about Johnny Cash.

Lesson 2: 

This is the second day of the project. Today I continued reading about Johhny Cash. I continue to read on the website Biography.com . On this website, I read so many things about his history. For example, that he was married with two womens: Vivian Liberto and June Carter. This lesson I also have watched a video about Johnny Cash. After I saw the video, I knew much more about him. In the video they say a lot of information about his life and his family. That his parents has a cotton farm and that he was moved when he was three years old.

Lesson 3:

Today it is the third day of the project. Today I am going to start looking for information for my presentation. Because we have to make a presentation of two minutes. I this presentation I tell the class why I think Johnny Cash is the greatest hero. Also I say in the presentation three bad things and three good things about my hero Johnny Cash. On http://www.biography.nl I found a lot of bad things. That he had a drugs and alcohol addiction and that he was not a good husband and father for his first family.

Lesson 4: 

Today was the fourth day of this project. This lesson I have made grammatic of the blue book. In the lesson I have done unit 14, 15 and 16. The grammatic is about the present perfect. Also this lesson I was searching information about Johnny Cash. I sought information on http://www.biography.nl and on http://www.johnnycash.nl. I have read about his childhood. That Johnny’s parents Ray and Carrie Cash were the owner of a cotton farm and that he had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. In this lesson Mr.Rol explained what you have to do for your short presentation. He gave Some tips for your presentation. That you have to say three things that he has done great and three things that Johnny has done wrong. When I make the presentation I can use them. At the end of the lesson we discussed about the test.

Lesson 5:

This lesson I continued working at the project superheroes. I start to make a biography of Johnny Cash. In the biography I wrote his childhood, where he lived and also I have write somethings about his family. When I was writing his biography, I put in on my website and than I piked up Some pictures. Also I write Some things about his work. That Johnny went to work in a car factory. In the car factory he worked along a conveyor belt. And over the years he takes the small parts, that he found on the conveyor belt to home. He said he took the small parts in his big lunchbox. This lesson was not special, it was quite a boring lesson.

Lesson 6: 

Today I continued working on the project. I have sought more information about Johnny Cash. I have been thinking about the question ‘Why is Johnny my hero?’. On http://www.biography.com I sought a lot of information about his music. Johnny did a lot of good things for the helpless people and for the prisoners. Johnny often go to jail to entertain the prisoners. Also he gave a lot of money to charity. At the end of lesson I asked my teacher a question about the grammatic of the blue book.

Lesson 7: 

Today we started with the presentations about our heroes. The person with the oldest hero began.  It was not my hero, because my hero was born at 26 February 1932. And the oldest hero van my classmate was born in 1869.  The hole lesson I listen to the presentations of my classmates. The presentations where really good. They did presentations about Mohandas Karamchand Gandi, Elvis Presley, Nelson Mandela and some others heroes. I found the presentations of my classmates really good, but some of the presentations were to short. So I have wrote some more text at my presentation.

Lesson 8: 

Today we continued with the presentations about heroes. At home I have wrote a lot of information about Johnny Cash for in my presentation. This lesson I did not have my presentation, but I have my presentation Friday 23 October. Today were the presentations of my other classmates. Their pitches were very good. They also had much more text and information than the first classmates. By every presentation Mr.Rol gave many tips about the presentations of my classmates. After 50 minutes the lesson was finished.

Lesson 9:

This lesson I have my presentation about Johnny Cash. I was so nervous. But when I stood for the class and I began to talk, I really like it. I found that is was good and also my teacher found that, He gaves me a 9. I was so happy. Also this day my other classmates had their presentations. Every body gave a lot of bad things and a lot of good things about their hero. After 40 minutes everybody has done their presentations. So I keep searching information about Johnny Cash.

Lesson 10:

Today was the last day of the project. I have post the last things on my website and I did the grammar exercises of the blue book. During the lesson Mr.Rol asked some other classmates to show their website. I took a look on the websites of my classmates and I wrote an reaction. Because of the project we had to write 10 positive reactions by 10 different classmates. I found the project really cool. I the begin I did not like it, but when I has sought more information about my hero, I did like it.
